Lisa and husband Mark moved from the Twin Cities to Madison in 2001 in search of a city in which they could afford to live in the “eclectic part of town”. A year after planting roots in the Atwood Neighborhood (where they are eternally thankful for the fresh coffee, fine dining, at-home taverns and a neighborhood market) Lisa and Mark welcomed a toe-headed ball-of-fire they call Eleanor. Exactly 23 months later “sweet boy” Nolen made his way into the family and began teaching his sister the beauty of silence and contentment. Lisa’s 15+ years of experience in determining the needs of individuals and families affords her the skills to respond to the ever changing needs and desires of Half-Pint shoppers, consignors, and volunteers.
Ellen and husband Mike have been living in Madison since attending the UW. They met working the “best campus job ever” at the Campus SafeWalk program, where they spent their evenings wandering around campus and talking (ok, and falling in love on the clock!)! Both she and Michael work for area non-profits and love living on the East side of Madison. Their eldest son Henrik is louder and spunkier than the average child but has an Extreme love for life. Abbott, born just 6 weeks before the Fall08 sale, is just as strong-willed as his older brother but has great potential to be the class clown and loves everything that his older brother touches. Ellen’s work experience brings knowledge of operations, marketing, communications and outreach. Her love for a great thrift find makes Half-Pint the perfect endeavor.
