Crisped Rice Trees

This little craft recipe is fast, fun, and tasty, so it’s a favorite here!

  1. Measure out 16 ounces of marshmallows (or just grab an unopened bag!)
  2. Measure our 9 ounces of crisped rice (or just grab a whole small box!)
  3. Melt 1/4 cup butter over medium heat
  4. Pour marshmallows into pot, coat with butter
  5. Stir frequently until all marshmallow lumps are gone
  6. Stir in green food coloring until desired shade of green
  7. Remove from heat and stir in crisped rice using a silicone spatuala
  8. Lay our a sheet of parchment paper for each half-pint baker
  9. Coat hands with spray oil and lay out globs of mixture on parchment
  10. Compress and roll to shape into cones
  11. Decorate!
    • Push candy covered chocolate chips into sides
    • Pipe icing around the sides
    • Dust with powdered sugar
