The HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) study, funded through the National Institutes of Health, is enrolling approximately 7,500 participating families from across the United States and following them from pregnancy through early childhood. Our long-term goal is to better understand how child development is affected by exposure to social and environmental experiences and conditions. Tri 4 Schools (a branch of Active Youth Wisconsin) supports the health and well-being of kids inside and outside the classroom. Through their events and afterschool programs, kids build confidence, form better peer relationships, and develop a positive relationship with physical activity.
Leslie is a Center for Babywearing Studies certified babywearing consultant serving Madison, WI and the surrounding areas. From her Trail Tuesday hiking groups to her babywearing consultations and fit checks, she is ready to to support and empower parents and caregivers by teaching them to wear their baby comfortably and safely in their favorite baby carrier!
