Thrifty tip!  Plan special outtings for when you have a coupon (boy, do I sound like my parents).  But seriously.  If you are planning a trip out to eat, you mine as well get some of your tasty meal for free.

Preschool Life, a great tip-filled website and newsletter for area families of toddler/early school aged children, has been negotiating some top-notch FREE STUFF for readers.   And one of the ones that we couldn’t help but notice was a coupon for a free meal at Bean Sprouts in Middleton.   

Bean Sprouts, the hip kid’s cafe in Middleton has a banner ad on the Preschool Life website which links you to a coupon for a free kid’s meal any day of the week (open Mon-Sat), good through 8/31/09.  Not familiar with Bean Sprouts?  In addition to their cafe, which serves hip & healthy kid-friendly food (including organic baby food), they offer story times with snacks, Bitty Baker cooking classes, birthday parties, catering & more, all with: kids, healthy ingredients and fun in mind!   No joke, it’s possible.

We’d highly recommend getting on Preschool Life’s mailing list because she has been sending out emails with more offers like the one up above.  Thrifty and smart?  Yes!  The website is also FULL of really useful information for families with toddlers.  One of my absolute favorite lists is the Outdoor Pool listing, which tells you times, addresses, and whether or not there is a zero depth entrance.  Yep, super useful.
