Neither option is preferred over the other (it is your choice!) and you can use either option at any time during your tagging. **Please note that the digital tag generator is new as of 9/3/25. I have not had time to reflect this option across the entirety of the website given how close we are to the sale. Feedback welcome at any time!**
Option 1: Digital Tag Generator
Online system for you to enter information and print a fully completed tag
Tips and Cautions
- This system is not connected to our consignor database. It will create barcoded tags for a consignor number that has not signed up to consign. Triple check that you have entered the CORRECT seller ID, and do not forget to sign up to consign via the consign page. Any barcode with a consignor number that has not been registered will not scan at the sale and those sales will not be paid to the consignor.
- This system is not connected to our point of sale system and the only information contained in the barcode is consignor ID and cost. This system will not allow you to track individual items through drop-off and sales.
- Please do not use Safari; the print function does not work correctly on this browser.
- The only information that MUST be filled in is seller ID and price. You cannot print a tag without this information. You can print a tag with ONLY this information, and create tag templates specific to your consignor number and a given price, to be filled in by hand later.
- The first page prints with a small header and will not line up with sequential pages; be careful about cutting out the tags on the first page at the same time as additional pages.
OPTION 2: Handwritten tags
Blank tags ready for you to write in information and attach barcodes
Step 1: Print our tag template
Step 2: Print barcodes from our partner system (tutorial on how to do this is here: video/written)
Step 3: Fill out tags by hand, attach barcodes to the tag
Step 4: Cut out tags/attach to items
Tips and Cautions
- If you forget your barcode, we will not know the item is yours, and you WILL NOT be paid. If you think you could forget to attach a barcode, print one tag template, and write your consignor number on each of the 6 tags by hand. Copy that sheet when you need more tags. If you forget the barcode, we will at least be able to price your item on the floor, and you will get paid for it.
- When you order barcodes from the partner system, order the prices you use frequently in groups of 30. That will give you one full page of each price. Save the resultant PDF to your computer, and then every time you need more of that price, pull up the PDF and print the needed price.
- If you want to make blank tag templates, order and print barcodes with 6 of each price you use frequently on normal paper. Attach to blank tags, then copy that sheet to make 6 blank tags with your given consignor number and price. Always copy that original, NEVER copy a copy, or your barcodes will get too blurry to scan.
- You can also make blank tag templates via the digital tag generator, by filling out ONLY the seller ID and price on 6 separate lines, and printing the resulting file.
